Amber Deschner



  • Amber completed her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with Great Distinction and then went on to pursue her Master’s of Physical Therapy. She was born and raised in Saskatoon and attended the University of Saskatchewan. She is very excited to stay in her home province to live and work in Humboldt!
  • Amber utilizes a well-rounded individualized treatment approach which consists of education, exercise prescription, manual techniques, and modalities to best fit her client’s needs and goals. Her interests lie in the areas of musculoskeletal and sport physiotherapy, orthopaedic rehabilitation, strength and conditioning, and neurology. She is obtaining her dry needling in the spring of 2020.
  • Amber’s background includes being a lifeguard and swimming instructor for several years and she has enjoyed playing soccer at a competitive level. Her soccer team won nationals in 2012 which was a first for any Saskatchewan team! When she is not at work, Amber enjoys travelling, spending time at the lake, and playing sports such as soccer, hockey, volleyball, and badminton. She also enjoys attending fitness classes and drama productions in the Humboldt community!
